Dr. Laurine Ngozi Ubanozie is a distinguished Board Governance Professional, Fellow Chartered Risk Manager (FCRM), Chief Artificial Intelligence Officer (CAIO), and accomplished executive leader with over 20 years of experience spanning corporate governance, enterprise risk management, structured trade finance, banking, energy, commodities, consulting, technology, and strategic business development.
A respected governance advocate, she serves as Governing Council Member and Treasurer of the Chartered Risk Management Institute of Nigeria (CRMI). She is the Founder and President of the Formidable Jewels Foundation for the Needy — a nonprofit advancing education, youth mentorship, women empowerment, and humanitarian interventions. Within Rotary International, she serves as Assistant Governor and has earned the African Leader of Integrity Award, ECOWAS Distinguished Leadership Award, and Paul Harris Fellow Recognition.
An accomplished author, her published works include Fuel Subsidy: Impact of Crude Oil Price Increase on Nigeria, Grace, Grit and Growth: The Reinvention of Dr. Laurine N. Chinwe brings over 15 years of wealth of experience from the Nigerian energy sector. She began her energy career at the Power Holding Company of Nigeria (PHCN) as a Customer Relationship Supervisor, and upon the privatisation of the distribution arm of the power sector, transitioned to Ikeja Electric Distribution Company Plc, where she served as Relationship and Debt Recovery Manager — demonstrating strong commercial acumen and stakeholder management expertise.
She currently serves as Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Pine and Crest Exclusive Business, further cementing her leadership credentials across real estate and business development. Chinwe is a committed professional defined by honesty, integrity, and professionalism, and is an active supporter of multiple charitable causes.
